Pregas e mais pregas

Debra Folz (EUA) criou a coleção “Pleat”. Uma coleção de móveis com muitas pregas.

Tecidos com pregas têm sido tradicionalmente usados pela indústria da moda. Aqui, no entanto, eles são utilizados em móveis modernos. 

O interessante é que o tecido plissado é fixado permanentemente aos móveis com a introdução de vapor. Debra já usou a técnica em pufes, cadeiras e até estantes.

Debra Folz (USA) has created “Pleat”, a furniture collection full of pleats.

Pleated fabrics have been traditionally used by the fashion industry. Here, however, they are used in modern furniture.

The interesting thing is that the pleated fabric is permanently set with the introduction of steam. Debra has already used the technique in ottomans,          chairs and even bookshelves.
