Projeto turco premiado


Nós postamos e estávamos certos: o novo Borusan Music and Art Center, situado em Istambul, é realmente um sucesso. O projeto, dos arquitetos turcos Gokhan Avcioglu e Ozlem Ercil Avcioglu (Global Architectural Development/ GAD) ganhou um prêmio muito importante: The International Architecture Awards 2011, organizado pelo The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design (junto com The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies e Metropolitan Arts Press). O júri selecionou 90 projetos de 29 nações.


Em outubro, os projetos serão expostos no simpósio “The City and the World”, em Buenos Aires (em paralelo com a 13th International Architecture Biennial). Depois da Argentina, a exposição viajará pela Europa.



We have posted it here and we have been correct: the new Borusan Music and Art Center, situated in Istanbul, is really a success. The project, by Turkish architects Gokhan Avcioglu and Ozlem Ercil Avcioglu (GAD) has won a very important prize: The International Architecture Awards 2011 organized by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design (with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press). The jury has selected 90 projects from 29 nations.

In October, the projects will be exhibited at “The City and the World” symposium in Buenos Aires (in parallel with the 13th International Architecture Biennial). After Argentina, the exhibition will travel in Europe.
